I was contacted by a couple who had existing older cherry shaker style cabinets in their kitchen but wanted to remodel the island. They removed the space wasting raised narrow second level that was existing to make room for a larger single level top. They also wanted matching shaker style cherry wood panels to wrap around both the the two new support extensions on the sides as well as the whole front that currently was the original textured drywall.
