Delivered the 8 foot long mid century modern computer/writing desk to the customer this morning. It is made of hard maple. He had been using a “for now” mass produced one that he never liked to work at with the goal of someday having one custom made. He had seen the progress pictures but when he saw it in person he fully understand what I meant by “the pictures do not do it justice”. He was extremely happy and excited saying he felt like a kid on Christmas morning! That this desk was a kind of a personal milestone for him. I am proud to be even a small part of it.
