I am curently working on a round table for new customers. The table top is all prepped for the aging treatment that will be ready in 3 days. The customers wanted a 42 inch wide solid wood top but wanted to see the definition of each board. To keep the natural organic aged look they want I used both a small block plane and file to chamfer the edges where the boards meet before the glue up instead of a palm router. They are still deciding on the style of the legs and apron.
